Supporting Our Military Community with PaYS
Our value as a leading partner is one-part cutting edge technology, and another, I’d say even more challenging resource to find, our people. At IST, our leadership represents diverse experiences, talents, and perspectives to create something our competition cannot replicate. This last February, IST began an exciting new partnership with the U.S. Army’s hiring initiative PaYS, or Partnership for Your Success, connecting our military to civilian careers, and enriching our future teams.
Our partnership with PaYS will allow us to welcome veterans into an environment where their skills and experiences are not only recognized but highly valued. Transitioning from military to civilian life poses its challenges and, through PaYS, we're committed to bridging these gaps to ensure our veteran team members can effectively communicate their value to our organization and our clients.
We know that military veterans bring a remarkable set of attributes to the table, including discipline, and professionalism that contribute positively to our operations and customer service. Their training and experiences offer valuable lessons in adaptability, empathy, and effective leadership, all of which are highly relevant in the civilian roles they will assume at IST.
I am so grateful that we were able to formally celebrate this new partnership at HQ with Regional Operations Manager Charles Riddervold, who has served in the Army for 28 years. Charles spoke about his personal connection to this organization on our podcast Outside-IN last March and really drives how beneficial this partnership will be for IST for years to come. PaYS, in addition to our other military recruitment programs GEMS and MSEP, will place amazing candidates to career opportunities and ensure IST to constantly growing with leaders.
As we approach Memorial Day, a time of remembrance and gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed for our country, this partnership takes on even greater significance. It shows our commitment not only to honor the memory of the fallen but to extend our support to those who return home. By aligning ourselves with PaYS and focusing on providing meaningful career opportunities to our military community, we send a powerful message that we are a company led by proven leaders.
