IST Green Initiatives – Environmental Commitment

Sustainability requires forward thinking and bold action. In the corporate world sustainability is associated with an organization’s holistic approach to doing business, considering everything from manufacturing to logistics to customer service. With so much of the future depending on our environmental impact we cannot leave anything to chance. We must be vigilant in our care for the planet.

In order to reduce our carbon footprint, water usage, non-decomposable packaging and wasteful practices we work green initiatives into our processes both in our own offices and in the work sites of our clients. That’s why we support sustainability within our sites and across our communities. 

As IST is primarily a people process company providing labor services, we focus our sustainability initiatives on improving process and efficiency. 

Many of IST’s forms have been converted to a digital format in order to conserve paper.

• Paperless management reports and electronic copy job submission
• Paperless payroll systems and employee onboarding system.
• Paperless billing and purchase order systems.
• IST DocStor allows for digital filing of HR documents eliminating the need for paper documents.
• All Client end-user and employee surveys are produced and completed online reducing paper waste.
• Paperless expense reports and employee reimbursements are deposited directly into bank accounts reducing paper and saving gas and resources.
• We work with printer/copier manufacturers to have depleted toner cartridges removed and recycled and all IST proposed office equipment is ENERGY STAR rated and compliant.
