IST's Gives Back

IST Gives Back has much to look forward to as we continue through the new year, our longstanding mission of "bringing value to others - whether that value is funding, food, shelter, or safety" guiding the program. We are proud to begin the year partnering with the #GiveHealthy digital platform. Those interested can donate fresh produce directly to those in need and move beyond traditional canned goods to provide healthier and more impactful contributions.

Q1 - Give Healthy Food Drive

Food Insecurity is one of the many global issues our society faces:

• More than 47 million Americans are food insecure. 1 in 5 being children. 
• Although food insecurity impacts every demographic, people of color and those in rural and southern areas are more likely to be affected. 

"Because Hunger is a Health Issue"



The Difference the #GiveHealthy Platform Makes: 

• The most popular form of "giving" in America is donating canned goods to food drives. 
• Often, the food donated to food drives is non-perishable, shelf-stable, and not fresh. 
• Food Insecurity is often related to diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and poor mental health. 

As we continue to rely on our communities to care for one another, technological advances revolutionize the impact we can make as individuals. Many individuals show interest in charitable donations or volunteering but feel they don't have time or know where to start. IST Gives Back wants to meet our communities where they are, making our ability to impact one another positively a more accessible process. Thanks to #GiveHealthy, we can provide a truly simple and highly impactful way to support a food drive local to you with your chosen fresh fruits or vegetables. 

2025 Employee Survey 

Building on the momentum and feedback we've received through our recent 2025 IST Gives Back Awareness Survey, our team aims to refine our efforts and deepen our impact. Thus far, the results have provided invaluable insights into the charitable interests of our employees, covering diverse causes such as animal welfare, disease awareness, and more. This feedback informs our current and future outreach efforts, allowing us to prioritize programs that reflect the diverse values of our IST teams.
