Community Outreach

The evolution of service and passion.

With service and passion as our foundation, we’re evolving the role IST Management plays in our communities nationwide. IST Community Outreach is a program committed to holistically serving others. In the words of our National Director, Chimeco Biles, “We believe community is our design, people our point, serving our privilege, and generosity our norm.”

Through IST Community Outreach, it is our mission to

  • Create opportunities
  • Strengthen communities
  • Facilitate better police training
  • Support other small businesses

Meet Chimeco Biles

Chimeco Biles is the national director of IST Community Outreach at IST Management. She oversees the development and execution of IST Community Outreach strategies for community engagement, charitable investments, and corporate social responsibility. Her responsibilities include social impact outreach, executive thought leadership, partner communications, and social impact initiatives for all IST Management regions.

Chimeco came to IST Management in 2017 where she started as a site manager and quickly worked her way up to a Regional STAR position. Chimeco’s superb leadership drew attention from clients and company executives as she worked tirelessly to elevate all of her fellow employees and encourage them to excel in all duties. Before IST Management, Chimeco worked for nearly two decades in the food industry, where she learned service and management skills.

A mother to nine children in Augusta, GA, Chimeco enjoys volunteering, spending time with friends and family, and practicing her faith. Chimeco steadfastly serves her community through leading and volunteering at Classy Sisterhood of Augusta, Family Promise of Augusta, InTheTrench Ministries, Salvation Army, and her church. Her drive to serve others is reflected through all that she does. Chimeco looks forward to bringing her skills and passion to lead IST Community Outreach.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Great Strides

Since 2011, IST Management has been a proud sponsor of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and participated in the annual Great Strides events nationwide. Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. It clogs the lungs, obstructs the pancreas, and stops natural enzymes from helping the body break down and absorb food. IST Management’s CF Ambassador is an eleven year old boy named Blake. Since he was four years old, IST has proudly raised money and awareness to help add tomorrows to Blake’s future. With Blake as our inspiration, we are proud to walk alongside the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Great Strides to support this amazing cause!

Growing passion.

As we have grown since our inception in 1998, so too has our commitment to serving others. In addition to our longstanding support for Great Strides, we are partnering with a diverse group of organizations around the country through volunteerism, donations, and engagement. Since June 2020, we have already partnered with several groups for the first wave of our outreach efforts.

Community Support

Partnering with MUST Ministries to provide opportunities and support to homeless families in the Atlanta area.

IST Community Outreach is partnering with MUST Ministries to financially support the construction of an entire children’s wing for homeless families in Atlanta. The program provides food and shelter along with afterschool programs for children and career development programs for adults.

Police Training

Facilitating police training and encouraging the mending of relationships between communities and police.

Small Business Support

Helping small businesses rebuild after instances of civil unrest.

IST Community Outreach is working with the City of Atlanta Recovery Fund to aid Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ CoA Recovery Fund to protect jobs, promote industry, and support small businesses in the Atlanta area that were damaged during instances of civil unrest.

IST Community Outreach donated $1,000 to the Oakland Indie Alliance to support small businesses in the Oakland area that were damaged during instances of civil unrest.

IST Community Outreach donated $1,000 to the Downtown Sacramento Storefront Recovery to support small businesses in the Sacramento area that were damaged during instances of civil unrest.

“IST believes in a company culture of good corporate citizenship. By employing our signature servant’s heart and passion, IST Community Outreach looks forward to helping these communities and more.”
