Hal Blackman is the president, chief executive officer and founder of IST Management Services, Inc. He has more than 24 years experience in sales and management. Hal’s vision is to create a diverse, global technology and service-based company that is focused and passionate about exceeding client expectations while simultaneously reducing their costs. Hal has built IST into a national company serving all major vertical markets from east to west coast with specialization on legal and corporate support infrastructures.
Concurrently, IST has remained the partner of choice for organizational support services boasting a 90% client retention rate since IST's inception in 1997. A cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, he holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a specialization in human resources. Hal lives in Fayetteville, Georgia, and his sons, Joshua and Sean, both graduated from the Naval Academy and are serving in the US Navy.
Andrew started with IST in May 1999. Since that time he has moved up the ladder from Service Specialist to Director of Project Management, and is currently the Vice President of Technical Solutions in Atlanta.
Andrew handles project planning and execution for the various IST software systems and works directly with our development team for enhancing our existing platforms. He has been instrumental in the development and deployment of IST's electronic document management platforms. Andrew is married and has one son.
Daniel Blechinger is the Chief Information Office (CIO) for IST Management Services, Inc. Dan has expertise in the development of state-of-the-art hardware architectures, software solutions and wide area networks for international companies. He has accumulated over 20 years of IT experience managing global projects and designing software applications. Dan has 8 years of prior management experience with 4 years as a chief information officer and 12 years of systems/software engineering knowledge from careers at TESA Entry Systems, Scientific-Atlanta and Photocircuits Corporation.
Dan has been influential as a member of the Telecommunication Industry Forum (TCIF) and Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) in establishing standards for business-to-business communications. He has a full range of business systems skills with specialties in scanning and electronic data interchange technologies. Dan received his bachelor of science in industrial engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1985. He resides in Auburn, Georgia with his wife and two sons.
Brad Burgess started his career at IST as a Service Specialist managing a file room at a client site. As IST has grown so has his career and he now serves as IST’s Vice President of Marketing. Brad leads a talented team of marketing experts handling the art and science of B2B marketing including; content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, digital marketing, event management, business intelligence, brand marketing, lead generation, sales support and graphic arts design. As the Vice President of Marketing, Brad has played a critical role in helping IST grow from a 5 million-dollar facilities management company to an 80 million-dollar business process outsourcing company.
Brad has an Associates in Liberal Arts from Young Harris College and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia. Brad lives in Duluth, GA with his wife and son where he enjoys running, photography, blogging and traveling. Brad also services as an Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 143 and as a photographer and graphic designer for the Lambert Lacrosse Boaster Club.
Joseph K. Carroll, SPHR, CMF, is the vice-president, human resources for IST Management Services, Inc. Joe has more than 25 years business experience and is certified as a senior professional in human resources by the Society for Human Resource Management. He is also an internationally certified career management fellow, international speaker and career coach. For the last 25 years he has managed human resources for several facilities management organizations including Ameriscribe, Pitney Bowes, Atlanta Legal and IKON. Joe’s publications include articles in the Facility Management Journal, Workforce, Competitive Edge, Office, IHRIM, Legal Management, Business To Business and 301 Great Management Ideas. He has published a book called How To Get a Great Job in 90 Days or Less and has conducted numerous presentations on career management for professional organizations.
Joe has a bachelor of arts degree in English from Queens College and a master’s degree in business administration from the College of Insurance. He is a certified management trainer. He is also a member of the International Coach Federation and the Association of Career Professionals International. Joe is a native of New York City and lives in Woodstock, Georgia with his wife and son.
Greg Caraway is Vice President of eDiscovery for IST Management Services. Greg has over twelve years of experience leading project teams in the management of extremely large document processing and review engagements involving multiple terabytes of data. Previous to his current position, Greg was a Director of Client Services at DTI and a Practice Support Project Manager with Jones Day LLP. Greg has also worked as a Litigation Trial Consultant for GDC Animation creating trial graphics and animations. Mr. Caraway is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Software Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Design Computing.
Ron Drake is the Vice President of eDiscovery Sales for IST Management Services. He has more than 22 years of experience in the Facilities Management industry. He served for eight years as Director of Operations at Atlanta Legal Copies. While in this role, he managed in excess of $25 million in revenue and over 200 employees. After leaving Atlanta Legal, Ron joined Kinkos Corporation. Ron reported to the Eastern Division President and was responsible for developing non-traditional business for the division. Ron joined IST in April of 1998 and currently oversees sales and market development in the southeast region.
Ron attended Georgia State University, majoring in Finance and Marketing. Residing in Powder Springs, Georgia, Ron is married with four children and actively involved in local church and community activities.
Craig Hamel has been in the facilities management service business since 1997, giving him over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the marketplace. He broke into the industry at that time with Archer Management Services earning numerous sales awards throughout his six year tenure there. Craig joined IST in the fall of 2003 and has been a key critical asset in helping continue to build and retain IST’s client base throughout the Northeast and Midwest.
Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Niagara University, class of 1995. He currently resides in Rockville Centre, New York with his wife and two children.
Dale McKee serves as vice president of finance for IST Management Services. He has a combined 20 years experience in public and private accounting. Approximately 15 of those years, Dale worked in operational accounting positions responsible for monthly accounting controls and compliance issues. He has been primarily responsible for corporate financial statement review and preparation for the past 10 years.
Dale has a bachelor of science in business with a major in accounting from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He passed the CPA exam in May 1990. He and his wife live in Jonesboro, Georgia and have a daughter.
Greg Mauk is the Vice President of IT Services for IST Management Services, Inc. Greg has over 20 years of IT and Leadership experience. Prior to joining IST, he has served in leadership roles with various organizations ranging from 50 employees to over 180,000 employees.
Greg is currently responsible for providing direction and leadership to the IT Services team, as well as overseeing technology support and services for our clients. Greg studied MIS at the University of Rhode Island. He is originally from the Northeast and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the proud father of 3 boys.
Lori Mitchum serves as vice president of administration for IST Management Services, holding over 20 years of experience in the human resources and administration field. Lori is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by Society for Human Resource Management. Prior to IST Management Services, Lori worked in the printing and graphic design industry, allowing her to bring not only a thorough understanding of employee administration to her current position, but also experience with marketing material creation & various design elements.
As the vice president of administration at IST, Lori’s responsibilities include proper administration and management of employee relations, benefits, payroll and law. In addition, Lori oversees all company functions, association conventions & employee communication programs. Lori attended Kennesaw State University, majoring in international business. Currently residing in Marietta, Georgia, Lori is happily married with two daughters.
Linda Muller joined the Executive Team at IST Management Services as Vice President, Records and Information based at the corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia. Linda's leadership role oversees support to clients including the design, implementation and maintenance of records management systems as well as policy, procedure, and protocol development.
In her prior role as Ricoh Legal’s Principal Consultant, Linda provided strategic information management compliance consulting with many Fortune 500 and AmLaw150 customers centered on legal records management, document workflow and managed services. With twenty-five years’ experience in records and information management, primarily international law firms including Perkins Coie LLP, Morrison & Foerster LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP, Linda has successfully managed technology implementations, data conversions, practice management problem-solving and solution building with legal practice groups, administrative departments, and regional offices.
As a Certified Records Manager and Information Governance Professional, Linda has been instrumental in building strategic records management compliance plans for organizations by providing an in-depth analysis of existing RIM processes. As a trained TQM facilitator, Linda has led global teams to standardize firm-wide procedures, records retention policies, destruction guidelines, space management and construction of decentralized service centers.
Linda is an active member of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) earning her certification as an Information Governance Professional (IGP), Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Association of Imaging and Information Management (AIIM), Certified Electronic Records Management Practitioner (ERMp), International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and Information Records Management Society of the UK (IRMS). Linda is also a Contributing Advisor to the Master of Archives and Record Administration (MARA) program at the San José State University School of Library and Information Science.
Kim Oleniacz is the senior vice president of IST Management Services in Pennsylvania. Kim possesses nearly 30 years of experience in the management and sales of on-site services to include: copy, mail, production mail, fax services, records management, receptionist, forms management, as well as many more office support functions. Kim has experience working for Ameriscribe, Pitney Bowes, and Archer, in both an operations and a sales capacity.
After many proven years of accomplishments, she joins IST with a desire to continue to build a strong focused outsourcing company that focuses on the highest degree of service available. Being a native of Pittsburgh, Kim returned to the area after relocating to Dallas, Texas for five years in 1985. Enjoying time with her two daughters and husband while servicing the needs of her clients, Kim is kept busy and thriving on future successes.
Tim Richardson is vice-president, operations for IST Management Services, specializing in project management, systems, procedures and technology enhancements while managing the operations of all IST sites throughout the U.S. He is also responsible for expanding client services, maintaining customer relationships and partnering with IST’s information technology department to enhance products and services. Prior to his promotion to vice-president of operations, Tim was the national director of operations.
He joined IST in 1999 as a service specialist and rapidly rose through the ranks, a true testament to IST’s career advancement opportunities. Tim lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and growing family.
Stuart Schwartz is the Senior Vice President/Partner for IST Management Services. He has over twenty years of sales, operations and management experience and over 15 years experience in facilities management. He spent over 5 years at IKON Office Solutions as an account manager, sales manager and general manager with responsibilities for sales and operations for IKON's Facilities Management and Legal Document Services Divisions.
After leaving IKON, he has spent the last 1-1/2 years with Oce Business Services, formerly Archer Management Services, calling on Fortune 1000 companies in the State of Connecticut. Stuart has signed numerous contracts throughout the country for both organizations. He has worked in a family owned business and owned his own business in support services. Residing in Trumbull, Connecticut, Stuart has been married for 25 years and has two daughters and a son.
Bob Seabolt joined IST as Chief Operating Officer in September 2018. After 13 years as an accomplished litigator and trial lawyer, Bob served as managing partner of Virginia-based Mays & Valentine from 1993-2000. As managing partner, Bob oversaw expansion of the firm by 45% and eventually merged 150 Virginia lawyers from Mays & Valentine into Troutman Sanders in 2001. Bob served in senior management at Troutman until 2018, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for technology, real estate, human resources and office operations for Troutman’s 12 offices in the U.S. and over 650 attorneys. Bob's areas of expertise include law firm strategy, partner performance management, revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond and the University of Virginia Law School. Bob and his wife live in Richmond, Virginia, and have two daughters in the working world.
